MP Atty. Laisa Masuhud Alamia delivered a lecture on financial accountability and absorptive capacity of the Bangsamoro Government during the first batch of the DELACSE Bangsamoro Lecture Series hosted by the Institute for Governance and Autonomy. The series was held last June 19-20, 2019 in Makati City.
Highlighting key provisions from the Bangsamoro Organic Law, Atty. Laisa discussed the opportunities it sets for the Bangsamoro Government in pursuit of sustainable fiscal autonomy. She underscored the important role of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) in building on these provisions and establishing the foundation for an efficient public spending and service delivery.
