The Bangsamoro Government is mandated to establish mechanisms to consult with marginalized sectors and local communities within its jurisdiction and to ultimately allow its people to freely participate in various political processes. This democratic practice will not only promote transparency in the Autonomous Regional Government but will also set a participatory decision-making process that puts the stakes and interests of the constituents at the center of the Government’s work.
It is with this premise that the Office of the Minority Leader initiates the Kamustahan sa Bangsamoro, a series of people-centered conversations on the Bangsamoro agenda. We will gather sectoral groups and community leaders to elevate their issues and concerns which will inform the BTA’s legislative initiatives.
First leg of the series will be in Basilan and will be conducted in partnership with the offices of Deputy Speaker MP Hatimil Hassan, MP Faiz Alauddin, MP Muslima Asmawil, MP Abdulmuhmin Mujahid, MP Muslimin Jakilan, and MP Alzad Sattar.
