In preparation for the year ahead, the minority bloc of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority Parliament conducted a strategic planning on January 30-31 in Davao City. Led by Minority Floor Leader Atty. Laisa Masuhud Alamia, all members of the minority bloc were in attendance together with members of their staff.

The members came prepared as they presented their key accomplishments for the year 2020, as well as their detailed plans of action for the year 2021. Over the weekend, these plans were discussed and consolidated into a joint agenda that the minority bloc will bring into the parliament, as it advocates for the passage of resolutions and key legislation that respond to the needs of the Bangsamoro people.

The strategic planning was facilitated by the Office of MP Atty. Suharto Ambolodto, with a program designed by the Office of the Minority Floor Leader.

Outside of the planning sessions, the minority bloc went to see the newly-installed Integrated Command Center of Police Regional Office in Region 11 on Saturday, January 30. Regional director PBGen. Filmore Escobal led the minority bloc in a guided tour of the center, highlighting its importance to the region’s police operations while also assisting them in disaster risk reduction and management.

The minority bloc of the Bangsamoro Parliament is composed of Atty. Laisa Masuhud Alamia, Engr. Baintan Adil-Ampatuan, Atty. Suharto Ambolodto, Rasul Ismael, Engr. Don Mustapha Loong, Amilbahar Mawallil, and Atty. Rasol Mitmug,Jr.
